Daily Bible In Hindi

Daily Bible In Hindi

BEST BIBLE VERSES OF CHURCH DISCIPLINE

December 04, 2020 0
BEST BIBLE VERSES OF CHURCH DISCIPLINE

CHURCH DISCIPLINE

1. Discipline begins with personal admonition.

Rom. 15:14. I myself am convinced, my brothers, that you your-

selves are full of goodness, complete in knowledge, and competent to

instruct one another.

Col. 3:16. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly as you teach and

admonish one another with all wisdom, and as you sing psalms,

hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God.

2. Restore one who has fallen, with gentleness.

Gal. 6:1. Brothers, if someone is caught in a sin, you who are spiritual should restore him gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.

3. Seek to save an erring sinner.

James 5:19–20. My brothers, if one of you should wander from the

truth and someone should bring him back, remember this: Whoever

turns a sinner from the error of his way will save him from death and

cover over a multitude of sins.

4. Forgive and restore one who repents; love him.

2 Cor. 2:7-8. Now instead, you ought to forgive and comfort him,

so that he will not be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. I urge you,

therefore, to reaffirm your love for him.

5. Do not fellowship with one who will not repent.

1 Cor. 5:11. Now I am writing you that you must not associate with

anyone who calls himself a brother but is sexually immoral or

greedy, an idolater or a slanderer, a drunkard or a swindler. With

such a man do not even eat.

6. Jesus gives us the procedure for church discipline.

Matt. 18:15-18. If your brother sins against you, go and show him his fault, just between the two of you. If he listens to you, you have won your brother over.

But if he will not listen, take one or two others along, so that "every matter may be established by the testimony of two or three witnesses." If he refuses to listen to them,

tell it to the church; and if he refuses to listen even to the church, treat him as you would a pagan or a tax collector. I tell you the truth, whatever you bind on earth will be bound heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

7. Christ has given the keys of the kingdom of the church.

Matt. 16:19. I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; what-

ever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you

loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.

8. Purge out the old leaven.

1 Cor. 5:1-13.

9. Excommunication is sometimes necessary.

2 Thess. 3:14. If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter,

take special note of him. Do not associate with him, in order that he

may feel ashamed. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him

as a brother.

10. Jesus commends the church for faithful discipline.

Rev. 2:2. I know your deeds, your hard work, and your perseverance.

I know that you cannot tolerate wicked men, that you have tested

those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them

false.

11. Jesus rebukes the church that does not discipline.

Rev. 2:14–16. I have a few things against you: You have people there

who hold to the teaching of Balaam, who taught Balak to entice the

Israelites to sin by eating food sacrificed to idols and by committing

sexual immorality. Likewise, you also have those who hold to the

teaching of the Nicolaitans. Repent therefore! Otherwise, I will soon

come to you and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.

BEST BIBLE VERSES COMMUNICATION, GOSSIP, LYING IN BIBLE

BEST BIBLE VERSES COMMUNICATION, GOSSIP, LYING IN BIBLE

 COMMUNICATION, GOSSIP, LYING

1. The psalmist has given us a model prayer for good speech.

Ps. 19:14. May the words of my mouth and the meditation of my

heart be pleasing in your sight, O Lord, my Rock, and my Redeemer.

2. Commit yourself to speak only what is right and true.

Prov. 8:6-8. Listen, for I have worthy things to say; I open my lips to

speak what is right. My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest

wickedness. All the words of my mouth are just; none of them is

crooked or perverse.

3. Do not speak harshly.

Eph. 4:29. Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your

mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up according to

their needs, that it may benefit those who listen.

4. Avoid harsh words.

Prov. 15:1. A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs

up anger.

5. Be quick to listen, slow to speak.

James 1:19. My dear brothers, take note of this: Everyone should be

quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.

6. Listen before you speak.

Prov. 18:13. He who answers before listening--that is his folly and

his shame.

7. God forbids us to lie; he wants us to speak the truth.

Exod. 20:16. You shall not give false testimony against your neighbor.

Eph. 4:25. Each of you must put off falsehood and speak truthfully

to his neighbor, for we are all members of one body.

8. The Lord detests lying.

Prov. 12:22. The Lord detests lying lips, but he delights in men who

are truthful.

9. All lying is of the devil, the father of all lies.

John 8:44. There is no truth in him (the devil]. When he lies, he

speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.

10. Lying will be punished.

Prov. 19:9. A false witness will not go unpunished, and he who pours

out lies will perish.

11. Do not hurt your neighbor by gossip or careless talk;

control your tongue.

Prov. 11:11-13. Through the blessing of the upright, a city is exalted,

but by the mouth of the wicked, it is destroyed. A man who lacks

judgment derides his neighbor, but a man of understanding holds his

tongue. A gossip betrays confidence, but a trustworthy man keeps

a secret.

Prov. 12:18. Reckless words pierce like a sword, but the tongue of

the wise brings healing.

Prov. 17:27–28. A man of knowledge uses words with restraint, and

a man of understanding is even-tempered. Even a fool is thought

wise if he keeps silent, and discerning if he holds his tongue.

Prov. 29:19. A gossip betrays confidence; so avoid a man who talks

too much.

Prov. 21:23. He who guards his mouth and his tongue keeps himself

from calamity.

12. Tame the tongue; it can be very destructive.

James 3:1-12.

13. We must help stop gossip and strife.

Prov. 26:20. Without wood, a fire goes out; without gossip a quarrel

dies down.

14. Be careful. Don't speak rashly.

Prov. 13:3. He who guards his lips guards his soul, but he who

speaks rashly will come to ruin.

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation,

will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

sheep know me—just as the Father knows me and I know the Fa-

there and I lay down my life for the sheep.

follow me.

DAILY BIBLE VERSE OF CHURCH, COMMUNION OF SAINTS

November 24, 2020 0
DAILY BIBLE VERSE OF CHURCH, COMMUNION OF SAINTS

 CHURCH, COMMUNION OF SAINTS

See also LOVING AND SERVING OTHERS, p. 82.

1. The church is one.

Eph. 4:3-6. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through

the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit—just as you

were called to one hope when you were called one Lord, one faith,

one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through

all and in all.

2. The church is one body with many functions; each member has a purpose.

Rom. 12:4–8. Just as each of us has one body with many members,

and these members do not all have the same function so in Christ we

who are many form one body, and each member belongs to all the

others. We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a

man's gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If

it is serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is en-

couraging, let him encourage; if it is contributing to the needs of others, let him give generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing mercy, let him do it cheerfully.

3. Together, Christians constitute God's household, in which he lives by his Spirit.

Eph. 2:19-22. You are no longer foreigners and aliens, but fellow

citizens with God's people and members of God's household, built

on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus

himself as the chief cornerstone.

In him, the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him

you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God

lives by his Spirit.

4. Keep the unity of believers; don't follow men, but Christ.

1 Cor. 1:10-17.

1 Cor. 1:11-13. My brothers, some from Chloe's household have in-

formed me that there are quarrels among you. What I mean is this:

One of you says, “I follow Paul"; another, “I follow Apollos”; another, “I follow Cephas"; still another, “I follow Christ." Is Christ

divided? Was Paul crucified for you? Were you baptized into the

name of Paul?

5. Gifts of the Spirit differ. Each member must use his or her gifts to serve others.

Eph. 4:11-13. It was he who gave some to be apostles, some to be

prophets, some to be evangelists, and some to be pastors and teach-

ers, to prepare God's people for works of service, so that the body of

Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in the faith and in the

knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the

whole measure of the fullness of Christ. 1 Cor. 12:1-11.

6. Each member of the body is necessary. We need one another.

1 Cor. 12:12-31.

7. Christ is the head of the church, his body.

Eph. 1:20-23.

Eph. 1:22-23. God placed all things under his feet and appointed

him to be head over everything for the church, which is his body, the

the fullness of him who fills everything in every way.

Eph. 5:23. For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the

head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.

8. Christ loves the church.

Eph. 5:25. Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the

church and gave himself up for her...

9. Attend worship services faithfully.

Heb. 10:25. Let us not give up meeting together, as some are in the

the habit of doing, but let us encourage one another-and all the more

as you see the Day approaching.

10. The psalmist longed for the house of God.

Ps. 84.

11. The meaning of the communion of the saints is beautifully taught in Paul's letter to Philemon.

The book of Philemon. (Paul writes the letter to his "dear friend and

fellow worker” on behalf of Onesimus, urging Philemon to receive

him back as a "dear brother.") Vv. 10–12. I appeal to you for my son Onesimus, who became my son while I was in chains. Formerly he was useless to you, but now he has become useful both to you and to me.

I am sending him—who is my very heart-back to you. Vv. 15-16. Perhaps the reason he was separated from you for a little while was that you might have him back for good-no longer as a slave, but better than a slave, as a dear brother.

He is very dear to me but even dearer to you, both as a man and as a brother in the Lord.

12. Elders are God's appointed shepherds placed over the flock of Jesus Christ.

Acts 20:28. “Keep watch over yourselves and all the flock of which

the Holy Spirit has made you overseers. Be shepherds of the church

of God, which he bought with his own blood.”
